ECO Guesthouse at Naiyang, Phuket, Thailand

ECO Guesthouse is a low-priced guesthouse which has been established in November 2003, situated at Naiyang Village at Indigo Pearl (formerly Pearl Village) Hotel road. It is located in a tropical garden with palm trees and orchids, separated from the road by the buildings of a minimart (108 Shop). Three rooms of 27 m² each are available, equipped with king size double beds. The rooms have air condition and a protecting curtain, a shower and a flushing toilette, a washbasin, a fridge, a sofa, TV (5 Thai channels). Telephone in the rooms is not available. But there is a card telephone on guesthouse's premise.

The guesthouse is suitable for foreigners ("farangs") who do not like the tourist crowds in the large hotels and do not like to be sounded by music from early morning until late night. It is a good accommodation for guests who like to be pampered by a friendly personal service. I speak and understand English. If wanted I call a taxi or help to rent a car or request for tee times at golf courses and deal for a discount and reasonable prices.

Tsunami of December 26, 2004, did not damage ECO Guesthouse and proved its location as a favorite one: It is situated only a 10 minutes' walk off Naiyang beach, but far enough for not being reached by destroying waves. Surely a good feeling during your stay at this place in present time while reports of earthquakes are broadcasted nearly weekly from the region that was the origin of December-2004-tsunami.

Following some guest's wishes I add a map of ECO Guesthouse's location and a description how to drive there.

After passing airport's exit gate turn right. You are now entering a multiple lane highway (Caution: They drive on the left!). Follow it passing the business buildings at both sides. You will arrive at a junction: Following a left turn would bring you to Phangnga or Phuket-town, going ahead to your aim. 100 meters more you will enter Naiyang village. A temple on the right. Do not turn right at this point to Naiyang beach! Follow the bends of the street for a short time until you will see a shelter for waiting guests of Airport bus. Turn right here and enter this street. A signpost to PEARL VILLAGE / INDIGO PEARL or GOLDDIGGER'S may be helpful. After 250 meters a minimart (108 Shop) on the left. In the rear ECO Guesthouse is situated. Done!
