A few kilometers in the south of Naiyang Beach, to be seen from south end of Naithon Beach, a small rocky island is situated, "Ko Waeo". No men live there, only some lonely coconut trees and small bushes grow there. But the water around the rock is full of tropical fish in a variety of colors, yellow, blue, red ones in different patterns and sizes. They are not shy. When being fed they approach to your boat as if asking for more food.

Of course your pleasure should not be to feed the fish. Watch them during a snorkeling excursion! It is a good idea to wear a base cap or a hat, a T-shirt and leggings against the burning sun and a life vest for your convenience and safety.

Don't forget a towel, drinking water, some snacks and even a jacket. Why? Best time is afternoon until evening with its great sunset. But: The air stream during returning after sunset could be cool.
