We propose a day trip with a limited choice of all the possibilities. We do not urge you to "make" them all. So you will have the leisure to stay half an hour longer at a place you like, to enjoy your seafood lunch or your afternoon break with a cup of tea, coffee or an ice cream or even to spend the time for taking well composed pictures.

2.) Kan Eang Restaurants: Hungry for fresh Thai seafood? An especially nice place is to be found at Kan Eang 1 or Kan Eang 2 Restaurants at the shore of Chalong Bay. These restaurants offer plenty of shady tables. You should not have any difficulty to find your favorite table for not only enjoying your lunch but also the view over Chalong Bay. Far over the bay in the dust you may guess Cape Phanwa with its aquarium, another favorite place to visit one day. |

3.) It's time now to proceed to Kata View Point. Go back to Cobra roundabout, take H 4028, later on H 4233. Follow it until Kata View Point. |
4.) Cape Promthep is famous for its sunsets, but it is a location for worship of Hindu God Brahma since former times too ("prom" is Thai for "Brahma", signifying purity, and "thep" means "God"). Follow H 4233 until access road to Cape Promthep and proceed until Cape Promthep's parking area. Do not hope to be alone there. Hundreds of other tourists have been informed about this nice place too and hold out until sunset. Shorten your waiting time in a nice coffee shop with a great view over the sea and the shoreline. In Phuket's high season sunset is at about 17:30 - 18:00. Keep in mind that you will need about 2 hours for returning home to ECO Guesthouse. | ![]() |
